RIP sweetest Kennet
Today we had to make the hardest decision ever. We had to say goodbye to our beloved Kennet W.
Kennet was already with us for almost 20 years and together with Jenny they were a successful team. We were very fortunate to give him the retirement he deserved. For the last four years of his life he filled his days playing in the fields of Dressage Stable Schreven.
Kennet and Jenny competed in three Youth European Championships and every time they brought back a medal. In 2003 they won team gold with the Junior team, in 2005 and 2006 they won team silver in the Young Riders. In the individual competition they were also very successful with two fifth places and winning the consolation test in Barzago 2005. They placed several times in the top 3 at Dutch Championships and won many international shows and classes.
But most of all Kennet was a very special, sweet and naughty horse, who still thought he was three years old. Almost every day he would jump around in the field, playing around with his friends. Unfortunately, he got physical problems and although he felt young his body wasn’t anymore. That is why we had to let him go today.
Dear Kennet, my naughty boy, thank you for everything. You will always be remembered!
